Bryan-Couch has been in health care for 32 years. She is passionate about quality veteran care and has stated on many occasions that every day should be Veterans Day. Bryan-Couch at Bryan-Couch graduated with honors and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau. Bryan-Couch currently serves on the National VA EBP Field Advisory Council and is certified in Hospice and Palliative Care.īryan-Couch’s work applied Hildegard Peplau’s Interpersonal Relations Theory to VA virtual applications and the research data was found to be statistically significant. Bryan-Couch has been a VA EBP leader, advocate, and mentor for multiple VA locations over the last decade. This work focused on virtual services and Veteran relationships and was based on current nursing evidence-based practice (EBP) research. Bryan-Couch’s work started before Covid-19 but was able to demonstrate improvements during the pandemic restricted services.
